Saturday started with a light breakfast served in the classroom, overlooking Clear Creek. The first class of the regional was taught by Ingrid King. The technique was "press molding" using a bisque bowl as the mold. Ingrid also demonstrated using the technique to produce a tile. Stone Leaf Pottery (Ingrid's business) donated the clay, Mile Hi Ceramics donated the underglaze and glaze for finishing, and Circle D Ceramics donated the molds for the class, so each student was able to carry the raw piece home well protected.
